Non-governmental Organization that aims at saving and improving the lives in the world’s toughest places. Mercy Corps have been responding to poverty, conflict and disaster challenges since 1979, helping more than 170 million people survive emergencies and build back better. It works on building humanitarian and development programs to help meet the needs of the refugees and the local citizens. Mercy Corps, with other organizations, planned a cultural heritage festival in Beirut and tasked notaclinic design agency to create its promotional campaign. Our solution needed to speak for the NGO to a wide range of audience. The result was an Arabic typographic composition of “Ehkile An Baladi”, meaning “Talk about my town”, accompanied by a simple, yet clear illustration of two generations communicating via an Arabic iconic coffee cup. The campaign included a banner, a poster, invitation cards and flyers.
